Barnens dag i V\u00e4sterby H\u00e4lsingeg\u00e5rdar med flera ungdomliga musikstj\u00e4rnor drog ocks\u00e5 storpublik. N\u00e4rmare tusen personer, och d\u00e5 f\u00f6retr\u00e4desvis barnfamiljer, kom f\u00f6r att lyssna till de unga talangerna som valts ut till regionfinal i den riksomfattande t\u00e4vlingen Popcorn 2011. Vann gjorde 14-\u00e5rige Charlie Ebert fr\u00e5n Ljusdal som nu g\u00e5r vidare till riksfinalen.
