Med kocken och matentrepren\u00f6ren Helene Westelius som guide fick deltagarna en flera timmar l\u00e5ng upplevelse i gammal kulturhistoria d\u00e4r maten stod i centrum. Det b\u00f6rjade med ett bes\u00f6k i V\u00e4sterbys f\u00e4bod d\u00e4r Helene ber\u00e4ttade initierat om f\u00e4bodlivet och bj\u00f6d p\u00e5 smakprov av ost och korv. Sedan fortsatte vandringen till kolarkojan d\u00e4r Ragnar Jonsson gr\u00e4ddade kolbullar och d\u00e4refter vandrade gruppen vidare till linsk\u00e4ktarna. D\u00e4r dukade Helene upp ovan\u00e5kersbr\u00f6d och salmonade. Efter ett bes\u00f6k i Berits Bod fortsatte deltagarna sedan till logen i V\u00e4sterby d\u00e4r Helene v\u00e4lkomnade med en buff\u00e9 av allehanda lokalproducerade produkter som t. ex tj\u00e4lkn\u00f6l, inlagda r\u00f6dbetor, r\u00f6kt abborre. havtornscrem\u00e9, olika sorters ostar, korngrynssallad, \u00f6rtrostade prim\u00f6rer, \u00e4rtbr\u00f6d, ostkaka med safts\u00e5s,jordgubbskr\u00e4m och rabarbersmulpaj med vaniljs\u00e5s. Bland dryckerna fanns ocks\u00e5 syr\u00e9nsaft och rabarbersaft. Eva M\u00e5rtensson fr\u00e5n Bolln\u00e4s och Mona-Lisa Forsberg fr\u00e5n Freluga imponerades av vandringen.- Helt fantastiskt. Det gjorde faktiskt ingenting att det regnade. En of\u00f6rgl\u00f6mlig matupplevelse, sammanfattade de dagen.
